Hi, I’m Eva-Maria,
I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist (M.A., DipION, mBANT, CNHC) and I’m on a mission to turn busy professionals’ frustration with food into a fascination with food.
Growing up on organic farms in Canada and Austria, tending to and preparing nourishing foods is in my blood. We had a veggie patch, a fruit orchard, and ate pickled, fermented, and probiotic foods year-round - so, good food has always been part of me.
Whilst pursuing a career in international management, I lived and worked on three continents for over a decade. At that time, my work was my priority, so preparing a nutritious meal was often the last thing on my mind.
After pushing too hard for too long and not prioritising my health and wellbeing, I found myself on a downward health spiral. I was chronically fatigued, developed hormonal problems, suffered from gallstones - and finally realised that I was racing towards a life of chronic health problems.
So I quit and went to study nutritional therapy.
I wanted to profoundly understand how nutrition and lifestyle choices can make the difference between excelling in life or burning out.
Fast forward to today…
Using principles of intuitive eating and cutting edge coaching styles, I offer personalised nutrition consultations and bespoke corporate nutrition workshops in Melbourne and around the world (workshops are available in English, French and German).
I never prescribe restrictive diets.
Instead, I create highly personalised nutrition and lifestyle programs to help you feel your best again.
Outside of my nutrition clinic, I am a committee member of European Business, the Australian network lead for BANT and I manage the Austrian Consulate in Melbourne. In my free time I’m an avid traveller, solo hiker, dancer, and I enjoy tending to my veggie patch!
